Bryan College Lady Lions Lose Heartbreaker at Home Against Union 3-2

The Bryan College Lady Lions hosted Union College on Tuesday night at 6:30 PM. Union came into the match ready to battle against the Lions. Union quickly got the upper hand in the first set taking down the Lions 25-23. Union came out hot in set 2 taking a good lead. Mistakes on the Lions kept them from winning set 2. The Bulldogs outplayed the Lions all night. Union took the set 25-16. On the verge of being swept, the Lions fought back and were able to get hot to win the third set 25-19. Bryan was able to force a set 4 to keep the match alive. The Lady Lions battled to overcome Union in the 4th set to force a fifth and final set with a score of 25-18. Mistakes were costly in the 5th set, Union came back strong ready to take the match away from the Lions. Union was able to secure a set 5 win with a score of 15-13 and take the match 3-2. This was Bryan’s first loss at home for this season. Union came to play and proved to the Lions that they wouldn’t be denied. The Lady Lions fall to 23-4 overall and 17-2 in the conference.
