Canadian Valley Technology Center’s El Reno Campus Pre-Engineering students captured first place in the Glider Design, Build, and Fly Challenge during the recent University of Oklahoma Engineering Open House.

Students design and build gliders as part of the Aerospace Engineering curriculum at CV Tech. CV Tech’s team scored 15 points out of 18 possible points by steering its glider through a scoring grid.

Each student received a $500 scholarship to OU.
