Former Union High School standout Gam Jones played on Thursday, May 15 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Union High School standout Gam Jones’ current collegiate team the Angelo State Rams lost 11-3 against the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the tournament.

The Angelo State Rams’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.
