Congressman Kevin Hern, who represents Oklahoma’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several major national and international issues through a series of posts on his social media account.
On October 7, 2025, Hern marked the two-year anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel by stating: “On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out the deadliest assault on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, killing over a thousand Israelis and taking hundreds more hostage. Kevin Hern has served as a member of Congress for Oklahoma’s 1st District since 2018 after succeeding Jim Bridenstine. Born in Belton, Missouri in 1961 and currently residing in Tulsa at age 61, Hern holds degrees from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
