Congressman Kevin Hern, representing Oklahoma’s 1st district since 2018, has recently shared his views on current political matters through a series of tweets. Hern, who succeeded Jim Bridenstine in Congress and resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma, often addresses national issues from his platform.

On March 13, 2025, Congressman Hern expressed support for the President’s efforts by stating: “.@POTUS is delivering for the American people!”

Later that day, he reflected on the five-year anniversary of COVID-19 being declared a national health emergency. In his tweet posted at 23:16 UTC, Hern stated: “This week marks 5 years since the COVID was declared a national health emergency and the start of the detrimental lockdown policies that happened nationwide. Today, we know so much more. We would not – and will not – repeat those mistakes.”

In another tweet posted simultaneously at 23:16 UTC, Hern criticized several public health figures and organizations regarding their actions during the pandemic. He tweeted: “Anthony Fauci, the WHO, and other government bureaucrats preyed on the fear of Americans and convinced us to pull our children out of school, to close down our local businesses, to distance ourselves from the essential communities around us…”
