Congressman Kevin Hern, who has represented Oklahoma’s 1st District since 2018, recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Hern, born in Belton, Missouri in 1961 and currently residing in Tulsa, is known for his outspoken nature on political matters.

On May 13, 2025, Congressman Hern expressed criticism towards the media’s handling of President Biden’s perceived decline. He stated that “The press are still baffled that they ‘missed’ all the signs of Biden’s decline. They didn’t miss anything – they were intentionally ignoring it! The entire mainstream media looked the other way because their friends in the Democrat Party told them there was nothing to worry.”

Later that day, Hern commented on an emotional family reunion involving Edan, a former hostage released from Hamas captivity. He remarked that “It was so touching to see the emotional reunion of Edan with his family, and to know that he is safely out of Hamas captivity and finally coming home to the USA.” Hern emphasized the urgency needed to rescue remaining hostages held by Hamas.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Hern criticized journalists regarding their portrayal of President Biden’s administration. He wrote “The press wants us to sympathize with them that they were all duped by the Biden Admin – that’s BS.” He expressed no sympathy for those he believes were complicit in covering up what he describes as Biden’s cognitive decline.

Kevin Hern holds degrees from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
