Congressman Kevin Hern, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Oklahoma’s 1st district since 2018, recently shared a series of tweets expressing his views on current political and security matters.

On May 10, Congressman Hern addressed President Biden with enthusiasm about legislative progress by stating, “Mr. President, your ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL is on the way!”

Two days later, on May 12, Hern commented on an incident involving a breach of prison security. He stated that such actions were unacceptable and emphasized that oversight should occur through official channels rather than unauthorized entries into prisons. He remarked: “This behavior is unacceptable. Oversight of these facilities happens through official channels, not by breaking into a prison where dangerous criminals are held and assaulting the law enforcement officers who are just doing their jobs.”

Later that day, Hern attributed Republican legislative success to former President Donald Trump’s influence. He acknowledged Trump’s campaign efforts as instrumental in securing victories for both chambers of Congress: “It’s imperative to remember — the only reason Republicans are in the position to pass this One Big Beautiful Bill is because of President Donald Trump. His effective message on the trail not only earned him an historic victory, it also helped deliver both chambers of Congress.”

Kevin Hern was born in Belton, Missouri in 1961 and currently resides in Tulsa. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BS degree and furthered his education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
