Congressman Kevin Hern, representing Oklahoma’s 1st district since 2018, recently shared his thoughts on various political matters through a series of tweets. Hern, who succeeded Jim Bridenstine, has been vocal about his support for former President Donald Trump and critical of the current administration.

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Hern expressed his approval of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), stating: “I’m proud of the work @DOGE is doing to make the government more efficient & transparent. This is exactly what we elected @realDonaldTrump to do! President Trump is the only one with the backbone to stare down the deep state and root out this reckless misuse of taxpayer money.”

Later that day, he posted another tweet reflecting his belief in Trump’s capabilities compared to President Biden’s performance: “Biden broke it – Trump will fix it!”

On February 6, 2025, Hern commemorated a past president by tweeting: “Happy Birthday, President Reagan! Your wisdom lives on.” This tweet reflects Hern’s admiration for Ronald Reagan and acknowledgment of his influence.
