Men’s Basketball are currently sitting on an 8-game win streak. As of December 14th, the Eagles moved up three spots in the national rankings to #5.
Since the previous #8 ranking, the Eagles have gone on to win 6 conference games and defeat 2 ranked teams; #18 Kansas Wesleyan and #11 Southwestern College.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Eagles are currently 12-1 on the season and 8-0 in conference play.
Averaging 76.8 points per game, the Eagles are shooting 64.4% from the paint and 47.7% from beyond the arc.
Defensively, the Eagles are a force in conference play; averaging 41.8 rebounds, 8.3 steals, and 4.1 blocks per game the Eagles push towards another KCAC championship.
Leading the Eagles thus far, Jaden Lietzke and Kaleb Stokes combine for an average 13.4 points per game and have been solid in the paint for the Eagles.
Defensively, Derrick Talton Jr., Jaden Lietzke, and Kaleb Stokes have been spectacular for the Eagles. Talton Jr. averages 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game while Lietzke and Stokes average 6 rebounds per game.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The #5 Eagles look to improve their 12-1 record December 20th in Seward, Nebraska with a nonconference match-up with the Concordia University Bulldogs.
