The Oral Roberts University baseball team will face the No. 8 ranked Oklahoma Sooners at Chapman Park in Tulsa on March 31, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.

This matchup brings together two teams with strong records this season and marks their 88th meeting overall. The Sooners lead the all-time series against the Golden Eagles, holding a record of 48-39. Last season, both teams split their games, each winning once on the road.

Oral Roberts enters the game with a record of 14-11 overall and an undefeated mark of 6-0 in Summit League play. The Golden Eagles are coming off a recent midweek loss to Air Force but previously swept St. Thomas in league action, highlighted by strong performances from players such as Martell Davis and Wailele Kane-Yates. Easton Teel has also been recognized nationally as one of D1 Baseball’s top starting pitchers and was named Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week after throwing scoreless innings against St. Thomas.

Oklahoma arrives with a record of 19-8 overall and is currently ranked eighth nationally by D1 Baseball. Despite being recently swept by No. 2 Texas, they have demonstrated pitching strength this season, ranking sixth nationally with four shutouts and maintaining a team earned run average (ERA) of 4.06.

Projected starting pitchers for Tuesday’s game are Brenden Asher for Oral Roberts and Michael Catalano for Oklahoma.
