34.3% unemployed in Tulsa in 2018

34.3 percent of Tulsa residents between 16 and 65 years old were unemployed in 2018, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The percentage of unemployed residents was less than the statewide total of 38.7 percent for this demographic group. In 2018 the total Tulsa population reached 312,759.

Out of 205,341 people who had a job, 186 were employed in the Armed Forces and 205,155 belonged to the civilian labor force.

The total unemployment numbers include residents of all ages who are not working.
