Oklahoma Wesleyan University 5 Lady Eagles Recognized as All-Americans

The Women's Soccer team had an outstanding 2022-2023 season; breaking records out of the gates and setting new standards for Oklahoma Wesleyan University Women's Soccer.

The Lady Eagles remained in the top 10 throughout the whole season and ended the year 22-1-1 overall. Their only loss comes with their final game at the National Tournament in Alabama.

As of December 6th, 5 Lady Eagles were announced as NAIA All-Americans.

Laura Maria – 1st Team All American (Forward)

  • Reached 100 Career Goals
  • Led the NAIA in Goals Scored (56)
  • Broke the All Tim NAIA Points Record
  • NAIA Player of the Year 
Sarah Evens- 3rd Team All American (Defender)

  • 3 Goals
  • 2 Assists
Narea Mora – 3rd Team All American (Goalie)

  • 60 Saves
  • .909 Save Percentage
  • 15 Shutouts
  • 6 Goals Allowed
Naroa Domenech – Honorable Mention

  • 29 Goals
  • 9 Assists
  • 67 Points
Joelle Meister – Honorable Mention  

  • 21 Goals
  • 9 Assists
  • 51 Points
COACHES REMARKS

Coach Ristic is extremely proud of his athletes and stated the following on the 5,

"These five contributed greatly to our season. We had a very good team performance this year and as a result five were honored. Very proud of them."
