TULSA, OK – Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman Kevin Hern (OK-01) released a statement in response to President Joe Biden’s recent announcement to grant parole to illegal immigrants married to U.S. citizens.

“Watching Biden hand down border policies is giving me whiplash,” said Chairman Hern. “Just a few weeks ago, he signed an order pretending to shut down the border, but now he’s incentivizing illegal immigration by granting parole. It’s incoherent policymaking – who is he trying to appease? These intentionally deceptive executive orders are doing nothing to stop the invasion at our border or the flow of deadly fentanyl into our communities. I’m sick of the failed leadership of the Biden Administration. It’s long past time for the Senate to take up HR 2 and send it to the President’s desk.”
