TULSA, OK – Republican Study Committee Chairman Kevin Hern (OK-01) released a statement criticizing the Biden-Harris Administration’s plea deal with the terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

“Over the past eighteen months, we have witnessed an alarming erosion of public trust in our justice system,” said Chairman Hern. “The Biden-Harris Administration has betrayed the American people by allowing a plea deal with the terrorists directly responsible for killing nearly 3,000 Americans and causing irreparable harm and trauma to thousands more. This decision is a slap in the face to the families of those lost on 9/11 and those who gave their lives to fight terrorism abroad. Instead of projecting strength, this Administration appeases terrorists time and time again. Their foreign policy agenda is dominated by failure and catastrophic loss of life. I remember when the United States refused to negotiate with terrorists, but not under the Biden-Harris Administration.”
