Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) issued a statement in response to the Iranian missile attacks on Israel that occurred today. Hern expressed his concerns about Iran's actions and their broader implications.

“Iran is no stranger to unleashing terror on innocent civilians, including Americans,” said Rep. Hern. “Today, they launched over 180 ballistic missiles, brazenly escalating the conflict and proving they will stop at nothing to achieve their sinister goals. For over a year, their proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah, have waged relentless war on Israel. Now, Iran pushes us closer to international conflict."

Hern also criticized the current U.S. administration's approach to Tehran. “It’s not political to say that we wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t for the Biden-Harris Administration’s complete capitulation to Tehran. Terrorists do not fear the United States, emboldening them to savagely attack one of our closest allies," he stated.

He concluded by reaffirming U.S. support for Israel: “The United States will stand with Israel today and every day. It is more important than ever to have strong leadership in the White House.”
