Recently, House Republican leaders gathered to discuss their plans for the future. The meeting included prominent figures such as House Republican Policy Chair Kevin Hern from Oklahoma, House Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana, and others. They aim to make life safer and more affordable for American families by aligning with former President Trump's America First agenda.

Kevin Hern emphasized the importance of this mandate, stating, "It’s really an honor to serve as the Policy Committee Chair going forward. As we look at the policy put forth on the campaign trail by President Trump, the mandate has been set… It’s pretty clear what the American people want."

Hern also mentioned that teamwork would be crucial in advancing these policies through collaboration within their leadership and leveraging relationships in the Senate. He said, "We’re going to work hard together. We have a great team, and we’ll collaborate closely with the leadership team to advance this policy. We’ll move it through the Senate, leveraging the relationships we’ve built within the Republican Study Committee (RSC), to ensure we get America back on track."

The focus remains on putting America first and reactivating initiatives underlined in their agenda. Hern expressed his enthusiasm about this direction: "Our focus is on putting America First and reactivating the Make America Great Again agenda. I’m excited about this incredible opportunity."
