Congressman Kevin Hern, representing Oklahoma's 1st district since 2018, shared his thoughts on recent political developments via social media. Hern, who succeeded Jim Bridenstine in Congress, expressed strong support for President Trump and his policies.
On February 4, 2025, Congressman Hern remarked on President Trump's first two weeks in office. He stated that "President Trump has been in office for 2 weeks and has done more in that time than Joe Biden did in 4 years." Hern praised the president's efforts to restore the "AMERICA FIRST agenda."
Later the same day, Hern discussed a legislative initiative related to foreign policy. He noted that "The Maximum Pressure Campaign was a powerful policy from the first Trump Administration." He mentioned introducing the Maximum Pressure Act with Representative Joe Wilson to codify this strategy into law. Hern indicated that President Trump is reimplementing this campaign.
In another post on February 4, Hern succinctly conveyed his views on presidential leadership transitions by stating: "Biden broke it - Trump will fix it."
