Today, Congressman Kevin Hern of Oklahoma's First District honored his 2024 nominees to the United States Service Academies. In a statement, Rep. Hern expressed pride in the students from his district who have shown a strong commitment to serving their country.

"Oklahoma's First District is home to remarkable, patriotic students driven by a deep commitment to serve our country," said Rep. Hern. He noted that this year's group of applicants was exceptional, making it challenging for his nominations committee to make selections.

Rep. Hern highlighted the rigorous and prestigious nature of the education provided by the United States Service Academies, which produce graduates considered among the finest globally. "Pursuing this path requires a genuine servant’s heart and unwavering dedication," he stated.

He praised the nominated students as exemplary representatives of Oklahoma and wished them success as they move forward in the application process.
