University of Tulsa Congratulations to Lara Foley

Congratulations to Lara Foley, TU’s director of integrative and experiential learning, for receiving the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium Collaborative Champion award. She was honored for her collaborative work with Doug Pierce, Tulsa Community College’s director of faculty development and global learning, to bring Fulbright scholars in residence to Tulsa.

The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) program works to grow colleges’ internationalization efforts by matching international scholars with an institution that will host the scholar to teach courses, lecture, help create curricula and more.

Foley’s work also allowed TCC students to visit the TU campus last year to observe our undergraduate research program and spend the day working in labs with our students and faculty.
