University of Tulsa Golfers Place Sixth at MountainView Collegiate

The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in sixth place Sunday at the MountainView Collegiate. The Golden Hurricane turned in a 54-hole total of 12-under par 852 after a final round 287 at the par 72 MountainView Golf Club.
 
Three Tulsa golfers finished under par for the tournament. Lilly Thomas finished in 12th place with a three-round total of 5-under par 211 after turning in a 2-over par 74 in final round action, while Sydney Seigel turned in Tulsa’s best round of the day with a 3-under par 69 and finished in 22nd place with a final 3-under par score of 213.
 
Lovisa Gunnar was the third Hurricane player with a under par score as her 1-under par 71 on Sunday gave her a 1-under par final score of 215 to finish in 33rd place.
 
Grace Kilcrease had an even-par 216 total after turning in a final round 1-over par 73 to a 41st place finish. Emily Böhrer closed out Tulsa’s team score with a 59th place score of 219 after today’s round of 2-over par 74.
 
Jenni Roller, playing as an individual at this event, finished with a 221 score for 69th place.
 
Iowa State won the team title with an outstanding team score of 60-under par 804 with four golfers finishing among the top-6 individually.
 
Tulsa will be back in action at The Bruzzy, April 1-2, at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Okla.
