Liberty ranked 109th in state for resident earnings in 2017

Liberty ranked 109th among cities in Oklahoma by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Liberty residents was an inflation-adjusted $27,917 per year. Liberty had 77 households in 2017, with a population of 202.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Lake Aluma. Lake Aluma's median income was $89,375 per year after adjusting for inflation – $61,458 more than Liberty. It had 30 households in 2017 and a population of 63.

Kenton had the lowest annual resident income among cities in Oklahoma, with a median income of only $5,455 per year. That was $22,462 less than the median income in Liberty at the time. Kenton had 19 households in 2017 and a population of 38.
