41 percent of applicants to the University of Tulsa were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Tulsa, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Tulsa enrolled 4,365 students in fall 2018, including 3,267 in undergraduate and 1,098 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

47 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 43 percent are residents of other states. 8 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (56 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 41 percent of the 8,526 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
