Cost of college went down for all students at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology

Tuition and fees fell 1.5 percent for 2018-19 at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oklahoma students paid $17,702 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $273 less than the $17,975 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 73 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 144 students received grants or scholarships totaling $788,490 and 184 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (979), 845 students used grants or scholarships totaling $14 million, and 666 students took out $7.5 million in federal student loans.
