Cost of college went up for all students at Paul Mitchell the School-Tulsa

Tuition and fees rose 14.4 percent for 2018-19 at Paul Mitchell the School-Tulsa, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oklahoma students paid $15,900 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $2,000 more than the $13,900 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 42 students received grants or scholarships totaling $179,300 and 55 students took out student loans totaling more than $441,896.

Including all undergraduates (193), 158 students used grants or scholarships totaling $665,165, and 165 students took out $1.2 million in federal student loans.
