Tulsa County ranked ninth in Oklahoma for resident earnings in 2019

Tulsa County ranked ninth among counties in Oklahoma by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Tulsa County residents was $30,505 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 252,661 households with a population of 646,419.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Canadian County with $33,213 per year after adjusting for inflation – $2,708 more than Tulsa County. It had 44,906 households with a population of 140,455.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Greer County with $19,174 per year after adjusting for inflation – $11,331 less than Tulsa County. It had 2,054 households with a population of 5,861.
