Oral Roberts midfielder Felipe D'Agostini and goalkeeper Jeremy Coste swept the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Soccer Peak Performer of the Week awards. Both Golden Eagles earned weekly honors for the first time in their respective careers as D'Agostini claimed the offensive accolade and Coste earned the defensive honor, league officials announced Monday.
D'Agostini kept ORU rolling in a pair of victories that kept his squad in first place in the Summit League standings. He assisted on the first two goals in a five-goal outburst during the Golden Eagles' 5-0 win over Eastern Illinois last Wednesday.
The Porto Alegre, Brazil native then tallied his third game-winning goal of the season in the 1-0 victory over Omaha on Saturday. He now shares the league lead in game-winners and his 42nd-minute strike was his fourth tally of the season.
Coste was busier in his second shutout of the week, stopping five shots by the Mavericks as he combined for six total saves in the wins over Eastern Illinois and Omaha. The Genilac, France native doubled his clean sheet total to four as he registered his first two in league play.
ORU has now won five straight league matches and pushed its overall unbeaten streak to six.
