Tulsa men's soccer players Alex Meinhard and Henry Sach were named as 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-Americans.  Meinhard is a first-team selection, while Sach is a second-team honoree.

They are just TU's fourth and fifth players to receive this honor after Chris Taylor (2009, 2nd Team), Mariano Fazio (2021, 1st Team) and Til Zinnhardt (2021, 2nd Team).  The duo was eligible for the All-American honor after being named to the Scholar All-West Region team earlier this week.

A junior forward from Tartu, Estonia, Meinhard maintains a 3.48 GPA in psychology.  On the field, he had team-bests of 10 goals, five assists and 25 points this season.  He attempted 38 shots, 22 of which were on goal, for a 57.9 shots-on-goal percentage.  He ranked second in points, third in goals, ninth in shots and 10th in assists in The American final rankings and picked up all-conference first-team honors.  He also was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-East Region first team.  Meinhard was named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week twice, was selected as the TDS No. 2 National Player in the midseason rankings, was a United Soccer Coaches Player to Watch and was tabbed to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

A senior midfielder from Benitachell, Spain, Sach has a 3.75 GPA in business management.  On the field, he recorded one goal and two assists for four points this season.  Sach was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-East Region second team and The American all-conference first team.  He was also the league's Defensive Player of the Week and was tabbed to the College Soccer News Team of the Week both one time.
