Women's Basketball was on the road January 18th for a KCAC match-up with the Southwestern College Moundbuilders. Not only was this the game of the week for the women's side, but an opportunity for the Lady Eagles to add to their win streak and stay in the groove.
Defeating the Lady Moundbuilders 63-54, the Lady Eagles improve their winning streak to 3 and are now 5-8 in conference.

The Lady Eagles were consistent throughout the entirety of the game, scoring over 13 points a quarter and outrebounding Southwestern 34-17.
Leading the Lady Eagles offensively & off the bench, Mahaley Farmer had herself an all time high with 18 points scored. Farmer was 8-14 in field goal makes per attempt and shot 100% from the free throw line. Along with 18 points, Farmer contributed defensively with 7 rebounds and a steal on the night.
Along with Farmer having herself a night, Sydnee Schovanec had 14 points and 13 rebounds, giving herself a double-double. It did not stop there for Schovanec who had 4 steals, a block, and two assists to help the Lady Eagles win another game.
