Tulsa Standard

The Tulsa women's golf team finished in 13th place at the ICON Invitational on Tuesday as the Hurricane shot a final round 295 for a 54-hole total of 874 on the par-72 Golf Club of Houston course.
 
Senior Lilly Thomas placed 20th overall with a 3-under par score of 213 after turning in a round of 75 on Tuesday. Freshman Grace Kilcrease was next for the Hurricane after today's round of 74 gave her a 54-hole total of 2-over par 218 for 48th place.
 
Sophomore Sydney Seigel turned in her best round of the tournament and the top final round for the Hurricane with a 1-under par 71. She finished the tournament at 3-over par 219 to place 51st overall. Fellow sophomore Lovisa Gunnar placed 70th with a 225 total and freshman Jenni Roller finished with a score of 227 for 78th place.
 
The nation's 10th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies captured the team title with a 34-under par score of 830, 10 strokes better than second-place North Texas (840). A&M's Zoe Slaughter claimed individual medalist honors with an 18-under par score of 198.
 
Tulsa will be in action next at the Trinity Forest Invitational, March 6-7, at the Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.
