Kevin Hern, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Oklahoma's 1st district, has been active on social media addressing various political issues. Hern succeeded Jim Bridenstine in 2018 and has since been a vocal advocate for several policies.

On March 19, 2025, Congressman Hern criticized the Associated Press in a tweet for allegedly promoting "Hamas propaganda" instead of focusing on the release of hostages held by Hamas. He emphasized that "this war in Gaza could end today—Hamas just has to release the innocent people they’ve held in brutal captivity for more than 520 days." He also expressed his support for Israel.

In another tweet dated March 21, 2025, Hern highlighted the importance of strong American leadership in competing with China. He praised former President Donald Trump and Secretary Marco Rubio by stating that "@POTUS Trump and @SecRubio are doing a fantastic job! Strength is back!"

On the same day, he reiterated his support for stricter immigration policies under Trump's administration. Referring to Trump's election promises regarding border security, Hern stated that "President Trump won an historic election largely because he promised to secure our border and deport the people here illegally." He assured that those residing illegally would not remain much longer.
