Certain City of Tulsa non-emergency numbers are not working for Verizon cellular customers. The City is working with Verizon to ensure service is restored, but a timeline for restoration has not been determined, yet.

The numbers affected include:

  • Tulsa Police Non-Emergency: (918) 596-9222
  • Tulsa Fire Non-Emergency: (918) 596-9977
  • Customer Care After-Hours: (918) 596-7777
Though 911 is not affected, Verizon customers are asked to only call 911 for emergencies and situations where a police officer is needed to respond.

During this outage, Verizon customers can make non-emergency police reports online at www.tulsapolice.org. Service requests can be made by calling 311 during normal business hours. 311 can also be contacted by emailing tulsa311@cityoftulsa.org or by visiting tulsa311.com.

Other numbers NOT affected that still work include the water line break emergency number, (918) 596-9488, and the sewer overflow emergency number, (918) 586-6999.
