Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) has issued a statement expressing his disapproval of President Joe Biden's veto of a bipartisan Congressional Review Act (CRA) aimed at repealing the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) joint employer rule.

"President Biden’s veto of bipartisan legislation to help small businesses is a slap in the face to hardworking Americans," Rep. Hern said. "This veto goes against the requests of thousands of American small business owners and franchisees, as well as the will of both the House and the Senate."

He further elaborated on the potential consequences of this decision, stating that during the Obama Administration, this rule resulted in a loss of 376,000 jobs. He emphasized that this rule poses a threat to the franchise model which has been instrumental in enabling him and thousands of other Americans to achieve their dreams.

"Biden’s veto is irresponsible and will result in economic hardship for small businesses and families during an already-challenging time across the nation," he concluded.
