On December 2, 2024, Congressman Hern shared his perspective on President Biden's tenure with a tweet stating: "I see Biden is ending his presidency with the same disregard for our justice system that he started it with, putting the interests of his family ahead of the needs of our country."

Later that day, Hern addressed an international crisis involving American hostages in Gaza. He tweeted: "Seven Americans are being held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza, alongside hundreds of others. The Neutra family's unimaginable pain demands a renewed, urgent effort to bring them home. Now."

On December 3, 2024, Hern turned his attention to economic concerns and national security. He emphasized fiscal responsibility by stating: "When the government spends more, the American people have less. The national debt is one of the greatest threats to our national security."
