Representative Kevin Hern has been sworn in for another term to represent Oklahoma's First Congressional District in the 119th Congress. In a statement, Rep. Hern expressed his commitment to serving his constituents and emphasized the importance of the first 100 days of Congress.

“It’s an honor to continue serving the people of Oklahoma’s First District,” said Rep. Hern. “Voters sent us here to deliver results, and I’m ready to get to work. The first 100 days of this Congress are critical to restoring safety, security, and hope for our nation."

Rep. Hern highlighted the Republican Party's objectives: "Republicans have a mandate to turn this country around, and we’re ready to deliver." He also mentioned his roles within the party: "As Republican Policy Committee Chairman and a member of House Republican Leadership, I’m committed to working with my colleagues to shape the policies that drive President Trump’s America First agenda that puts our country back on track.”

Elected initially in 2018, Congressman Hern will serve as the Republican Policy Committee Chair, which is considered the fifth highest-ranking position within the Republican Conference. Additionally, he is part of the influential Ways and Means Committee during this congressional session.
