House Republican Policy Chairman Kevin Hern accompanied President Donald J. Trump at the Capitol as the President addressed a joint session of Congress. The address focused on restoring America's strength.

"President Trump laid out a bold, unapologetic vision to renew the American dream," said Congressman Hern. "From lowering costs for families, to restoring peace abroad, and slashing waste, fraud, and abuse—the possibility of America is in our hands, and under his leadership, the next four years will be a golden era of prosperity, strength, and security."

Congressman Hern's official guest at the joint address was Mark Nelson, President of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) of Oklahoma.
