Republican Policy Committee Chair Kevin Hern expressed his support for a continuing resolution passed by the House to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year. The resolution aims to ensure that President Trump's agenda proceeds without interruption.

In a statement, Hern said, “Today, House Republicans ensured President Trump’s agenda continues without disruption, while Democrats voted to shut the government down for no reason.” He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling the work expected by his constituents and advancing the mandate given to President Trump during Election Day.

Hern stated that passing this continuing resolution provides President Trump with the necessary space to advance his legislative agenda through Congress. "I will continue to fight for his priorities to be implemented every step of the way," he added.
