Congressman Kevin Hern, who has represented Oklahoma's 1st district in the U.S. Congress since succeeding Jim Bridenstine in 2018, recently shared several insights through his Twitter posts. Hern, born in Belton, Missouri in 1961, now resides in Tulsa and holds degrees from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas, Little Rock.

On April 16, Hern underscored the foundational role of small businesses in the U.S. economy, noting the origin of many major corporations in modest settings like a garage or dorm room. He celebrated the American opportunity, stating, "Every major corporation started as a small business in someone’s garage or dorm room."

On April 18, Hern mentioned his recent trip to El Salvador. He expressed his intention to discuss the purpose and insights from the trip on Newsmax, posting, “There’s been a lot of interest in my trip to El Salvador this week… I’ll be sharing what I saw and why we were there on @NEWSMAX in just a few minutes.”

In a reflective post on April 19, Hern commemorated the somber anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, which occurred 30 years prior. He honored the 168 lives lost in the attack with a message of remembrance, stating, “30 years ago today, a horrific attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City took 168 lives and forever changed the people of Oklahoma.”

Kevin Hern, at 61 years old, is a notable figure in Congress, recognized for his emphasis on entrepreneurship and community remembrance.
